Who I am

I'm David — a born-and-raised Prague local and licensed tour guide. I built Time For Prague around one simple idea: travelers deserve real insider knowledge and unforgettable experiences from someone who actually lives here and knows the city inside out, not recycled tips from tourists who visited for a long weekend or moved here yesterday.

 

How it started

My guiding journey actually began outside Prague, at Český Šternberk, a stunning medieval Gothic castle from the 13th century, about 30 minutes from the city. I'd always had a deep passion for history, culture, and architecture, and getting to share that with visitors every day felt like exactly what I was meant to do. After a while though, and after getting pretty well acquainted with every one of those fifteen castle rooms, I was ready to expand. So I did what felt natural: I brought it all back home to Prague, the city I was born and raised in.

What I do

What started as a simple social media account has grown into digital guides with itineraries, maps, and my favourite — private tours. My goal is always the same: to give you access to the real Prague. 


 

Not just the famous landmarks, but the hidden gems most tourists never discover. Including local restaurants, cafés, bars, breathtaking viewpoints, gardens, and the fun things that most visitors simply never find because nobody told them where to look. I'd love to show you all of it.
